What is Signature?

Signature is a free online tool that adds text, signatures or marks to protect and brand images. It runs in your browser with JavaScript and the canvas API, so your photos are never uploaded to a server and there is no sign-up, watermark or daily limit. It belongs to our Watermark collection of 95 image tools.

Available options: Text, Size %, X %, Y %, Color. Quick presets include Bottom right, Bottom left, Big, Blue ink, Black ink.

How to use Signature

  1. Open Signature and drop, paste (Ctrl+V) or select your image.
  2. Tap or drag on the image to position it.
  3. Hold the original button or use the before/after slider to compare.
  4. Press Apply to keep the change. Undo and redo are always available.
  5. Choose PNG, JPG, WEBP, AVIF or ICO, then download, copy or share the result.
